Newark is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Newark is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Newark ID is in the back of the building but after 1 visit staff directed us wrong twice. How ? I have no clue. Though the back doors say βhandicapβ itβs not just for that itβs for everyone needing Newark ID like we did. Parking is horrible so just prepare to struggle with that. Today will make 7 weeks that we wait for Newark ID TO βfixβ a computer connected to the camera. We completed our forms and waited and was told come back system is down or not working. That was 7 weeks ago. We called every other day. Sometimes hung up on before a βhello.β Now, why an American government office could not fix a computer or camera in less than 7 weeks seriously stumps me. I know thereβs a lot of immigration flowing through Newark but we canβt behave like the slow governments of these countries. We are America. In 7 weeks taxpayers money could have brought a whole new computer but anything but hold up a process and service for 7 W E E K SβΌοΈ totally unacceptable in 2026. We finally got IDsβ¦still processing if it was worth the wait. Staff needs to be more friendly, warm and welcoming. So many people would love to have their jobs and they are a bit ungrateful and cold. At 9am why would one appear

I have epilepsy, a lifelong condition, and Dr. Uwah only prescribed my medication for one month. It has now been almost two months, and I have been calling this office every single day with no response. On the only occasion someone answered, they refused to assist me in Spanish, placed me on hold for nearly 15 minutes, and then simply told me, βSorry, we canβt help you.β I have made more than 20 phone calls, each with over 10 minutes of waiting time, and no one ever follows up. This is extremely concerning, especially for patients with chronic conditions who depend on continuous medication. This level of care and communication is unacceptable, and I do not recommend this office to patients who need reliable medical support

October 2025 The phlebotomist by the name of Kimberly in the lab downstairs is the best I have ever had in my adult life. I have the worst veins that you can imagine and she is able to draw my blood every time without severe pain and injury. I called to tell her supervisor about my positive experiences with Kimberly but she was not available and did not return my call. Kimberly needs recognition from LabCorp and should be given a raise in pay for her extraordinary performance. Update: Again today on April 7th, 2026 I went to LabCorp to get my labs drawn. I was so relieved to see that Kimberly was on duty. As usual she was so professional and compassionate to me. She was able to obtain my blood after two attempts and I was so grateful to her. Again I emphasize that there is no other phlebotomist like Kimberly because I have had many others before who were not able to access my veins or caused me significant injury. When I told her that I wanted to give her a positive review and that I had tried to contact her manager to do so, Kimberly just smiled. May God bless this remarkable lady.

I was given a gyn appt for 2pm told to arrive 15 min early for registration. I left work got here at 1:30 it is now 2:48 and no one has called me for anything . I have to return to work at 4pm. I have a serious problem and needed to be seen today. It is sad to know this place doesn't care about a person's health and has no respect for a person's time. No wonder women don't seek medical attention when needed with service like this. Mary Mahoney Health Center should be ashamed of how they treat people and patients.
